Spooks (1953) Spooks (1953)
CAST: GEORGE MONTGOMERY, JOAN VOHS
DIRECTED BY: WILLIAM CASTLE
RUNTIME: 73 mins
COLOR: color
SHOWN: Thursday September 18, 2003
SHOWN WITH: FORT TI
Set in the 18th century, the film recounts the exploits of Rogers' Rangers, a band of adventurers devoted to seeking out a "northwest passage" through Canada. At this juncture, however, Major Rogers is more concerned with helping the British forces at Fort Ticonderoga during a series of French and Indian raids. Top billing is bestowed upon George Montgomery as Captain Pedediah Horn, Rogers' right-hand man. The film boasts two leading ladies: Joan Vohs, as a suspected French spy, and Phyllis Fowler as a married Indian woman who falls in love with Captain Horn. Fort Ti was filmed in 3-D, and in typical William Castle fashion the stereoscopic gimmick is exploited to the hilt. IMPORTANT NOTE: The 3-Stooges short "Spooks" will be shown AFTER the feature film, "Fort Ti". This is how this feature and short were designed to be shown... and they haven't been shown properly in over 50 years!

3-D GLASSES (POLAROID TYPE) will be required for all shows. Anaglyphic (red/blue) glasses will NOT work. If you do not have a set, you can purchase them at the theatre for 50 cents each. All tickets are non refundable. Schedule and Special Guests are subject to change without notice.

*No one under the age of 18 (including pass holders) will be admitted to "The Stewardesses" midnight showing.
